First, I would like to thank you to all the viewers of my content and especially my followers, who are with me since Day-1.

I published my first article on August 13, at that time I didn’t know much about blogging and writing. I am not like those new Medium writers, who got their first 100 followers and 5k views in their first week.

For the first two weeks, I only had 100 views, and 3 or 4 followers. I still am not in Medium Partner Program, though some of my articles had earned much if they had got monetized. But I don’t feel regret about that because I am too happy that people enjoyed reading my article.

Often my blog is related to India and Cryptocurrencies because these are my favorite topics. Forex and International Politics are some others, but for now, I am just concentrating on these topics.

Why did I join Medium?

Medium is one of my preferred platforms for writing, because of its loyal readers and quality. Anyone who wants to start a blog or write their art or poetry should consider the Medium instead of a personal blog, because of the enormous audience of the medium.

I have come to Medium from Quora. When I have joined Quora in 2017, I was in school and there were many intellectuals on that platform, and every past blog of Quora had that quality.

But the things have changed since, while Quora has a much larger audience than Medium, the all-around quality of Quora has reduced. It has become more like Instagram and Facebook, where people post their photos.

While Medium has certain guidelines, and all Medium communities follow those guidelines by heart, like giving attribution and fewer Grammarly mistakes, and many more.

Tip for new writers:

When I first came to Medium, my main motive was to get into the Medium Partner Program, but sometimes you should first learn the skills and learn the art of waiting.

It's true that some people get their success early, but some have to wait for that time.

Don’t just wait, the success will come, in the meanwhile, just keep learning and experimenting with things and make yourself more creative.

Some Success Mantra points:

  • Daily read other people's blogs and learn their creativity and mix them with yours to make your own creative writing.
  • Never ever compromise with the quality of your content. Be loyal to quality with your full devotion.

It’s proficient to write four quality articles weekly, rather than write ten trash articles weekly.

Thank you and keep supporting.
