When we talk about Hunger, it’s not related to wealth hunger by the Capitalists but the Hunger for food. Food, which we can find with ease in our Supermarkets or stores, is one of the scarce things in poor countries.
Developed countries like the USA and European Union Countries may not have food problems that much because of their less population and advanced agriculture technology.
Developing countries like Asian Countries and Poor countries like African Countries, still struggle to find the daily minimum food, and that's because we need food every day and that requires some cash or government schemes.
What Government is doing?
While the Government of developing countries tries to give free food to the poor, not all poor get benefitted from the schemes because of less awareness and more corruption.
On the other hand, Poor countries are still reliant on United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and donations from around the world, but that is also not enough.
So Elon’s $6 Billion will surely help in reducing World Hunger if WFP created a plan which has less corruption and more utility of Funds.
But will it eradicate World Hunger?
Elon gives his $6 Billion, now what?
Suppose Elon gives money by selling his Tesla Shares and then will it give some relief to the poor of the World, well, that’s a BIG YES.
But on the other hand, this will not end World Hunger, because it’s not some temporary need, which can get solved with money.
So UN WFP may be able to give some relief to the poor, but they can’t eradicate Hunger from this world with this $6 Billion.
You can’t remove Poverty and Hunger from this world, you can only decrease them.
So eradication of Hunger from Elon’s $6 Billion is a BIG NO.
What WFP chief has to say?
The statement came after UN WFP chief David Beasley said people like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos can solve world hunger.
The SpaceX founder asked for WFP to show on Twitter how $6 billion will solve world hunger.
Beasley respond to Musk and said $6 billion will prevent geopolitical instability and mass migration. The WFP chief said he is ready to have a conversation in person with Musk.
Maybe Elon will also not sell his Tesla Shares because there is no sure cut way to Eradicate Poverty, until now.
